Draftype Secures $2.07M Series A Funding to Enhance AI-Driven Advertising Solutions

Draftype secures $2.07M Series A funding to enhance AI-driven advertising solutions, targeting $6.9M in revenue by 2026 through innovative data integration.

Draftype, a big data and AI-powered advertising solution company, has secured Series A funding from ILSHIN Investment. This investment marks a significant step for Draftype as it aims to bolster its technological capabilities in the rapidly evolving advertising sector.

Founded with a vision to revolutionize advertising through technology, Draftype offers integrated solutions across the entire advertising value chain. This includes everything from strategy development and creative production to media planning and platform innovation. The company has established partnerships with prominent brands such as Shinsegae Duty Free and Mediheal, as well as various advertising agencies.

Investors have expressed particular interest in Draftype’s unique blend of software and hardware development capabilities. The company boasts a portfolio of over 10 data-driven marketing solutions, most notably the “Myeongdong Following Media,” which is Korea’s first motor-engine-based moving outdoor advertising platform. With a focus on innovation, Draftype has secured 10 patents that cover a range of technologies, including rotating billboard control systems and generative AI imaging.

The company’s financial trajectory reflects its technical emphasis. Draftype projects its revenue to surge from $275,000 (400 million KRW) in 2024 to approximately $2.07 million (3 billion KRW) in 2025, representing a 7.5-fold increase. This growth is attributed to the company’s strategic decision to employ a workforce where half are data engineers, machine learning engineers, and other technical specialists.

An ILSHIN Investment Partners representative stated, “We saw an opportunity to transform a 20 trillion KRW advertising market through AI and data technology. Many companies excel at either software or hardware, but Draftype stands out with its execution capability across the entire spectrum—from data analysis to physical media hardware development.”

The Series A funding will primarily be allocated toward expanding Draftype’s development team and enhancing its AI and data solutions. The company has plans to integrate its existing tools into a unified advertising platform, with a target revenue of $6.9 million (10 billion KRW) by 2026.

CEO Daehee Kim emphasized the significance of this investment, stating, “This investment lets us move beyond building individual solutions toward full-scale expansion. We’re building an efficient advertising infrastructure where every step—from strategy to execution—connects through data and AI, giving advertisers a truly integrated experience.”

As the advertising landscape continues to evolve with the integration of advanced technologies, Draftype is positioning itself to capitalize on the growing demand for data-driven solutions. The company’s focus on combining innovative hardware and software solutions may well define its future success in the competitive market.
