Publicis Groupe India has launched a new digital unit, Publicis Digital Experience (PDX), aimed at consolidating the group’s technology, data, and experience capabilities. This initiative, announced on Monday, is designed to tackle what the group describes as middle- and after-funnel priorities for marketers and technology leaders. Key focus areas include customer experience, commerce, social media, marketing technology, CRM, and artificial intelligence.
PDX will be structured around three main solution practices: social, AI-driven platforms, and CRM. Additionally, it features a technology centre of excellence dedicated to exploring emerging technologies and advancements in artificial intelligence. The formation of this unit consolidates teams and expertise from Digitas India, Razorfish India, and Indigo Consulting, creating a unified organization capable of enhancing client offerings.
Amaresh Godbole has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of PDX India. In his new role, he will also serve as Chief of AI Experiences and Solutions for Publicis Groupe India. This leadership move underscores the group’s commitment to integrating technology and creativity within their services.
In a statement regarding the launch, Anupriya Acharya, CEO of Publicis Groupe South Asia, emphasized the convergence of marketing and technology, which has expanded the roles of both the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Chief Information Officer (CIO). “PDX re-architects how digital, technology, data, and creativity work together to meet this transformation moment,” she said. Acharya noted that as marketers envision the future, PDX is structured to help accelerate this evolution.
Godbole echoed her sentiments, stating, “We’re entering a world of technology haves and have-nots. Clients are no longer looking for fragmented services; they need partners who can turn AI and technology into a competitive edge across the middle and after funnel.” He added that PDX has been built to respond to this demand, leveraging proven capabilities and applying scalable thinking to prepare for an AI-first future.
The introduction of PDX comes at a time when the digital landscape is undergoing rapid transformation, largely driven by advancements in technology and shifting consumer expectations. The focus on AI and integrated marketing solutions reflects a broader industry trend aimed at creating seamless customer experiences across various touchpoints. As firms increasingly turn to data and technology to enhance their marketing strategies, the launch of PDX positions Publicis Groupe India to meet these evolving demands.
Publicis Groupe India’s strategic move to launch PDX represents its commitment to remaining competitive in an ever-changing market. The emphasis on AI-driven solutions and integrated platforms indicates a forward-thinking approach that aims to capitalize on these technological advancements. As the digital marketing ecosystem continues to evolve, the success of PDX will likely hinge on its ability to deliver cohesive and innovative solutions that resonate with clients and their consumers.
