FPT and LG CNS Partner to Expand AI Education Solutions in Southeast Asia

FPT partners with LG CNS to deliver AI-driven education solutions across Southeast Asia, enhancing digital learning capabilities and workforce development.

Vietnam-based technology provider FPT and South Korean artificial intelligence transformation company LG CNS have forged a strategic partnership aimed at expanding AI-powered education and training solutions across Vietnam and the broader Southeast Asia market. The announcement was made last Friday, highlighting the collaboration as a response to the increasing demand for technology-enabled learning in the region.

The partnership will leverage LG CNS’s AI education solutions, including LENS, an AI-based education and language learning service, and A+CE, an AI-powered communication skills training platform. Both offerings support personalized learning experiences, multilingual delivery, and flexible deployment models, such as SaaS and on-premise, which allow organizations to customize programs according to diverse learner needs and operational contexts.

By combining FPT’s extensive global reach and expertise in AI-enabled software development with LG CNS’s industry-specific AX business capabilities, the collaboration aims to deliver modern, scalable solutions that foster digital transformation within corporate education. Under the terms of the agreement, FPT will spearhead market development and solution delivery in Vietnam and Southeast Asia, offering localization, implementation, technical transfer, and ongoing customer support. In contrast, LG CNS will provide core solutions and continuous technological enhancements to maintain industry competitiveness.

The partnership enhances FPT’s education solutions portfolio, further promoting broader adoption across regional markets. “Education and workforce development are becoming critical pillars of digital transformation across Vietnam and Southeast Asia,” said Nguyen Khai Hoan, FPT Software’s SEVP and Chief Operating Officer. He added that as LG CNS’s global implementation partner, FPT is poised to utilize its AI and cloud technology expertise to create a sustainable impact in education and help organizations build future-ready skills at scale.

Meanwhile, Lee Ho-kun, Vice President of LG CNS, described the collaboration as a new phase in the long-standing partnership between the two companies. “By strengthening our partnership, we aim to advance AI-driven digital learning initiatives in Vietnam and Southeast Asia and accelerate the expansion of our AI education business across the region,” he noted.

This collaboration builds on a relationship that has evolved since 2019, where FPT and LG CNS have engaged in joint initiatives focusing on digital transformation and advanced technology applications. By aligning their complementary strengths in AI, data, cloud, and enterprise systems, the two companies have successfully delivered practical solutions for large-scale organizations. This established foundation sets the stage for deeper collaboration in education and workforce development.

As the global landscape shifts towards technology-driven learning environments, the partnership between FPT and LG CNS could have significant implications for education in Southeast Asia. With the increasing importance of digital skills in the workforce, initiatives such as these are likely to play a pivotal role in shaping future educational frameworks and addressing the skills gap in the region.
