The discussion encompassed various topics, including the status of popular game series, internal development hurdles, and the company’s response to increasing costs and evolving platforms.
One significant revelation from the meeting was Falcom’s cautious approach to adopting generative AI technologies. The company stated that AI tools are currently utilized for tasks such as scenario brainstorming and research, as well as detecting typos and omissions in scripts. However, Falcom emphasized that legal considerations pose ongoing concerns, resulting in limited use of these technologies. Nevertheless, the developer reported substantial efficiency gains, noting that tasks which previously required two to three hours can now be completed in approximately ten minutes.
