Cognizant Partners with Palantir to Drive AI Modernisation in Healthcare and Enterprises

Cognizant partners with Palantir to leverage AI technologies in TriZetto healthcare, aiming to enhance operational efficiency and compliance in regulated sectors.

US-based IT major Cognizant has announced a partnership with Palantir Technologies aimed at accelerating AI-driven modernization across healthcare and enterprise operations. This collaboration, revealed on February 6, 2026, will see Cognizant leverage Palantir’s Foundry and Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP) to enhance AI integration within its TriZetto healthcare business.

As part of their strategic alliance, the companies will explore using AIP to support AI-driven optimization across TriZetto’s healthcare platforms and Business Process as a Service (BPaaS) operations. The partnership particularly targets high-value workflows in highly regulated, labour-intensive environments, where efficiency and compliance are paramount.

Surya Gummadi, President of the Americas at Cognizant, emphasized the partnership’s potential to leverage advanced technologies. “This partnership reflects our commitment to using frontier technologies to deliver value for our clients, while also transforming our own businesses for the next era of AI-led growth,” he stated. The collaboration highlights Cognizant’s ongoing efforts to deepen its AI capabilities following recent partnerships with firms like Cognition and Gemini.

Palantir’s US Commercial Lead, Eric Lakin, also underscored the significance of the collaboration, noting, “Enterprise AI does not fail because models are weak. It fails when AI lacks a shared, governed understanding of how the business actually operates – something only Ontology can provide. That’s why we’re excited to partner with Cognizant and bring AIP to TriZetto, embedding AI into core workflows to transform enterprises from the ground up.”

Both companies aim to expand their collaboration beyond healthcare, addressing enterprise AI transformation initiatives across various industries. This broader approach reflects a growing trend among technology firms to adopt AI solutions that enhance operational efficiency and drive innovation.

The partnership aligns with the larger context of digital transformation, as enterprises increasingly turn to AI to navigate complex business landscapes. By integrating AI into critical processes, companies can not only streamline operations but also improve decision-making through data-driven insights. Cognizant and Palantir’s focus on regulated sectors, such as healthcare, underscores the importance of compliance and precision in high-stakes environments.

As AI technologies continue to evolve, partnerships like this one are expected to play a crucial role in shaping the future of enterprise operations. The collaboration between Cognizant and Palantir signifies a noteworthy advance in the ongoing journey toward AI-driven business transformation, with the potential to deliver substantial benefits across multiple sectors.

With this partnership, both companies are positioning themselves at the forefront of the AI revolution, aiming to redefine how organizations utilize advanced technologies to achieve their objectives. As they move forward, the focus will be on tangible results that can drive growth and enhance productivity in an increasingly competitive market.
