The actress Katrina Law, known for her role in NCIS, has been granted a temporary restraining order against her estranged husband, Keith Andreen, following allegations that he used artificial intelligence to impersonate her. Law, 40, filed the request on December 23, claiming that Andreen, 51, had utilized an AI program to send deceptive messages mimicking her voice to various individuals, including a new romantic partner.
Court documents reveal that Law accused Andreen of engaging in a “sophisticated scheme” to damage her reputation, alleging that he sent voice messages that not only carried her likeness but also contained “false information and lies” intended to undermine her career. The temporary restraining order was granted on December 24 and remains in effect until January 13, when a hearing on the matter is set.
Law’s accusations suggest a troubling pattern of behavior from Andreen, who she claims has been increasingly unstable. She alleged that he hacked her social media accounts and email to monitor her communications and activities. “I feel like I can’t live freely without being followed or monitored,” Law stated in her filing.
The actress also expressed concern over Andreen’s mental health, noting that he had exhibited suicidal ideations and had access to a shotgun kept in their home. Law claimed that she has witnessed Andreen’s erratic behavior, which she believes has been exacerbated by “Ketamine Treatments for some unknown reason.”
In addition to the impersonation allegations, Law described an incident captured on her Ring doorbell camera, which she claims shows Andreen placing a tracking device under the hood of her car. A private investigator confirmed the presence of the device, further intensifying her fears for her safety.
Law filed for divorce on August 11, citing a breakdown in their relationship that began around 2016. The actress detailed a month-long affair in May 2025 that led her to reassess her marriage, stating, “After the relationship ended, I realized that my marriage with Keith was not the same loving and supportive partnership that we previously had.” She informed Andreen of her intent to seek a divorce on July 7.
According to Law, the couple had been living together due to financial constraints, despite her feelings of insecurity around Andreen. She detailed that he has attempted to control their daughter, Kinley, by guilt-tripping her into staying in the master bedroom, even when she expressed distress over the situation.
The restraining order mandates that Andreen remain at least 100 yards away from Law and their daughter, prohibits him from using any tracking devices to monitor their movements, and requires him to surrender any firearms he may possess. In the interim, Law has been granted possession of their 2024 Audi Q8, along with their pets.
As the case progresses, a mediation session is scheduled for January 12 to discuss custody arrangements for their daughter. In previous statements, Andreen has expressed a desire to protect his daughter’s well-being, stating, “I cannot fully close the door on that possibility” of reconciliation, despite the tumultuous nature of their current relationship.
This situation highlights the increasingly complex interactions between personal relationships and technological advancements, particularly as artificial intelligence becomes more integrated into daily life. The implications of using such technology for impersonation raise ethical concerns and legal questions that are likely to gain further attention as cases like this unfold.
