Elysian appoints Armando Andrade as Head of Claims Strategy to enhance AI-driven growth in commercial claims, leveraging 20 years of industry expertise.

Elysian, the first AI-Native Third-Party Administrator (TPA) designed for complex commercial claims, has appointed Armando Andrade as its new Head of Claims Strategy. This leadership change, announced on February 10, 2026, aims to enhance the company’s growth trajectory and bolster its AI-driven claims capabilities.

Andrade brings over 20 years of experience in enterprise claims and TPA operations, previously serving as Executive Vice President of Claims Operations at TheBest Claims Solutions. In that role, he managed property and casualty operations, formed carrier partnerships, and oversaw enterprise program delivery across North America. His extensive experience also includes more than a decade at State Farm, where he held various senior roles in multiline claims and operations.

In his new role at Elysian, Andrade will be responsible for leading the company’s claims strategy and ensuring effective execution of enterprise operations. He will closely collaborate with clients to modernize claims processes while maintaining disciplined and scalable operations as the company expands its platform. His expertise is expected to align claims knowledge, operational rigor, and AI capabilities, further supporting Elysian’s growing presence in the commercial claims sector.

“Armando brings the carrier relationships and operational credibility needed to execute at enterprise scale. His experience will strengthen our ability to deliver excellence on our commitments as we grow,” said Grace Hanson, Founder and CEO of Elysian.

Andrade expressed enthusiasm about joining Elysian, stating, “Claims is an industry I know and care about deeply. Elysian is rethinking how claims should work at scale by pairing real operational expertise with AI-native technology. This is an opportunity to modernize claims execution without losing what matters most—judgment, accountability, and results.”

This appointment follows the recent hiring of Laila Beane as Chief Marketing Officer in January 2026, underscoring Elysian’s commitment to strengthening its leadership team as the company enters a new growth phase.

Founded in late 2024, Elysian is distinguished as the first AI-native TPA capable of achieving superior outcomes in commercial insurance. The company integrates AI-orchestrated claims processing with elite adjusting talent to handle complex claims with remarkable efficiency. By employing advanced multimodal AI-agent orchestration, machine learning, and statistical optimization, Elysian aims to deliver precise insights that assist adjusters in making informed decisions.

As Elysian continues to innovate within the claims processing sector, Andrade’s appointment is expected to further solidify its position as a leader in the industry. The integration of advanced AI technology with deep operational expertise could pave the way for transformative changes in how claims are handled in the commercial insurance space.
