Snowflake and OpenAI have announced a multi-year strategic partnership aimed at integrating artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities within Snowflake’s data platform. This collaboration is designed to support enterprises as they transition from AI experimentation to production, reflecting a broader industry trend towards practical AI applications.
Unveiled in a news release on February 2, the agreement allows OpenAI’s models to be utilized natively within Snowflake’s AI Data Cloud. This collaboration also marks a significant move for OpenAI, extending its influence into large enterprise accounts that utilize Snowflake for managing sensitive data.
