Rimini Street Launches AI-Driven Rimini Agentic UX to Modernize ERP Systems Efficiently

Rimini Street launches Rimini Agentic UX, an AI-driven interface for ERP systems, enabling rapid deployments in weeks and reducing IT costs while enhancing efficiency.

Rimini Street has unveiled an artificial intelligence-based user interface designed for enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, enabling organizations to enhance their existing systems without undergoing significant upgrades or migrations. The service, named Rimini Agentic UX, specifically targets companies managing extensive Oracle, SAP, and VMware environments, which are increasingly pressured to reduce IT expenditures while sustaining project momentum.

Known primarily as a third-party support provider for major enterprise software platforms, Rimini Street has built its business around the maintenance and optimization of existing installations, steering clear of traditional vendor-led upgrade cycles. The introduction of Rimini Agentic UX is framed as a transformative solution for how businesses execute ERP processes and interact with core systems.

Functioning as an AI-driven engagement layer, Rimini Agentic UX connects seamlessly to underlying ERP software. According to the company, it employs orchestration tools, automation, and user experience design to create a unified interface that consolidates workflows typically spread across multiple modules and screens. This product features role-based and persona-based screens for end-users, utilizing AI techniques to automate repetitive tasks, streamline workflows, and surface critical information from back-office systems.

Rimini Street asserts that this innovative approach can be applied across various departments and business units, with a focus on minimizing manual labor and reducing the time needed to complete standardized ERP functions. “Traditional ERP software is reaching its technical and functional limits and lacks the agility required for an enterprise to respond with speed to today’s ever-changing environment,” stated Seth Ravin, president and CEO of Rimini Street.

Rimini Agentic UX is designed to complement existing ERP installations rather than replace them, allowing organizations to bypass the lengthy migrations associated with upgrading to new ERP versions. The company emphasizes that traditional upgrade programs can involve significant consulting work and take years to implement.

Rimini Street argues that the maintenance of core systems consumes the majority of IT budgets, leaving little room for new initiatives. The firm points to declining technology budgets alongside persistent demands for enhanced digital services, data utilization, and automation. Its marketing strategy highlights the avoidance of traditional “rip-and-replace” programs, asserting that organizations can integrate Rimini Agentic UX into their current ERP landscape and leverage AI-based automation across critical functions such as finance, procurement, and human resources.

The deployment period is promoted as taking weeks rather than years, with early adopters reportedly progressing from pilot projects to full production across various regions and subsidiaries. The company has reported that several enterprises have begun using Rimini Agentic UX in live environments, complementing its ongoing efforts in third-party support and managed services.

Among the early adopters is Sunway Group, a conglomerate based in Malaysia. The organization, already utilizing Rimini Street for ERP support, is now engaging with its AI initiatives. Kevin Khoo, CIO of Sunway, remarked, “Without Rimini Street, a ton of our projects would still be stuck at the proposal stage. Instead, they’ve allowed us to start executing AI projects and other major tech initiatives that will be fundamental to competing and providing an excellent customer experience going forward.”

These implementations are aligned with Rimini Street’s consulting framework, known as Rimini Smart Path. This methodology outlines a gradual approach to maximizing existing software assets while introducing automation and AI-based services. Rimini Street has collaborated with thousands of organizations on support and optimization, claiming that such efforts have freed up considerable funds for other projects due to reduced vendor maintenance costs.

Ravin has linked the Smart Path methodology directly to the new product, stating, “Rimini Street is leading the way forward with Rimini Agentic UX, bringing Agentic AI ERP to the real world. With Rimini Agentic UX and the Rimini Smart Path methodology, we can maximize the full potential of a client’s existing solutions, deploying Agentic AI ERP over the top of existing ERP software to deliver savings and value in weeks, not months – and within the existing budget.”

Rimini Street anticipates that numerous organizations across various industries will incorporate the combination of Smart Path and Agentic UX into their ERP strategies, expecting further production deployments as current support customers look to automate their installed systems.
