Base AI Acquires EverAfter to Launch First AI Engagement OS for Customer Growth

Base AI acquires EverAfter AI to create the first Engagement OS, enhancing customer retention and upsell opportunities through AI-driven experiences.

Base AI, a prominent customer-led growth platform, has announced its acquisition of EverAfter AI, a leader in customer-facing post-sale experiences. This strategic move aims to establish the first Engagement OS, which unifies Customer Lifecycle Marketing and Digital Customer Success into a single platform. The initiative is designed to enhance adoption, upsell opportunities, advocacy, AEO/GEO influence, community engagement, and overall retention through AI-driven activation and personalized customer experiences.

The decision to acquire EverAfter AI reflects a broader transformation in how modern B2B enterprises approach revenue growth and customer experience. Base AI is focused on three core objectives: increasing Net Revenue Retention (NRR) by leveraging upsell and expansion strategies while simultaneously reducing churn through improved adoption and lifecycle engagement; using AI and AI-Agents to enhance customer data quality and real-time activation; and minimizing costs and friction by consolidating tools and streamlining customer experiences across various touchpoints.

In the current AI-driven competitive landscape, it has become imperative for customer journeys to operate cohesively rather than as isolated functions. The Engagement OS redefines the post-sale experience as a continuous, customer-led lifecycle that encompasses onboarding, adoption, advocacy, and expansion. Unlike previous approaches, which often relied on fragmented handoffs and point solutions, the Engagement OS is designed as a comprehensive operating system that facilitates coordinated efforts across customer experience, engagement, and revenue generation.

As AI technologies become increasingly integrated into go-to-market teams, existing fragmented systems are proving inadequate for scalable operations. Without a unified foundation, automation can lead to increased activity without the necessary context, ultimately resulting in suboptimal outcomes. By consolidating data, insights, and engagement strategies into a single framework, the Engagement OS is positioned to provide the infrastructure needed for AI to facilitate coordinated, lifecycle-aware execution that drives measurable revenue growth.

“The B2B customer experience is inefficient and detrimental to growth because it was never built as a system. It evolved around organizational structures and GTM silos, instead of customer centricity and LTV,” said Gal Biran, CEO and Co-founder of Base AI. He emphasized the importance of the data-driven programmatic post-sale customer engagement established by EverAfter AI, stating, “This acquisition is about building the first Engagement OS, to orchestrate any post-sale activation and measurable outcome across the customer lifecycle while providing Marketing, CS, Sales, and Product teams a single source of truth with AI-based insights and revenue growth frameworks.”

The Engagement OS introduces several powerful capabilities: it offers unified real-time signals that consolidate customer activity and sentiment into a single, live view, thereby enabling contextual engagement throughout the lifecycle; it employs engagement context-driven orchestration to determine next-best actions through AI-based insights; it facilitates compounding revenue and trust by increasing adoption, upsell and expansion opportunities, advocacy, and retention through a continuous AI-driven lifecycle motion; and it establishes a fundamental AI foundation that incorporates lifecycle engagement signals, insights, activation, and attribution.

Noa Danon, CEO and Co-founder of EverAfter AI, noted, “EverAfter was built on a simple belief: product experience and customer experience should not be separate. We productized post-sale work into digital experiences as customer data became fragmented across disconnected tools. Bringing this technology into Base AI closes a long-standing gap.”

Both Base AI and EverAfter AI have garnered a strong customer base, including industry leaders such as Adobe, Zendesk, Broadcom, ZoomInfo, Okta, Vidyard, and Salesloft. Users of both platforms can expect continued support, alongside the introduction of new capabilities from the AI Engagement OS as the two products integrate. To explore the vision behind the Engagement OS and the future of customer-led growth, Gal Biran and Noa Danon will host a live webinar detailing the AI framework for orchestrating customer-led growth.
