Get Set Learn, a subsidiary of the Arvind Mafatlal Group, has announced a strategic partnership with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. and Arduino, aimed at enhancing future-skills education in India. This collaboration will focus on integrating artificial intelligence, electronics, and emerging technologies into the K–12 education ecosystem, with an emphasis on practical applications.
As artificial intelligence continues to evolve and permeate various industries, equipping students with the necessary skills to build and implement these technologies is crucial for national competitiveness and workforce readiness. The partnership will introduce physical AI learning pathways and a future-ready curriculum in Indian classrooms, ensuring students gain practical experience in designing intelligent systems.
The alliance seeks to make advanced technologies accessible and applicable in real classroom settings. By merging Arduino’s open-source hardware and development tools with Qualcomm’s energy-efficient on-device AI capabilities, students will have the opportunity to engage with physical systems that function reliably in low-connectivity and resource-constrained environments, which are prevalent in many parts of India.
Under this initiative, the three organizations plan to create structured learning pathways that encompass electronics, coding, robotics, and AI, focusing on measurable outcomes for students from grades K–12. They will provide on-device, edge AI experiences, enabling learners to develop and iterate physical systems locally. This approach aims to reduce dependence on cloud resources while enhancing responsiveness, privacy, and cost efficiency.
Furthermore, the collaboration will transform existing ATL and STEAM labs into structured, certification-led learning environments that align with future skills and life skills development. Get Set Learn’s extensive network of national school partnerships will facilitate the widespread implementation of these educational programs, ensuring consistent impacts across both public and private education systems.
The initiative is designed to adhere to widely accepted global standards and toolchains, allowing schools to invest confidently in these educational technologies. By prioritizing physical computing with on-device AI capabilities, the programs will remain resilient to connectivity issues, minimizing costs while teaching students the foundational skills required for real-world engineering challenges.
Students participating in this initiative will progress from basic principles to deploying functional systems, including reading sensors, controlling actuators, and integrating tasks such as vision and audio perception. The outcome will be a portfolio of practical projects and certifications that serve as pathways into higher education and entry-level jobs in technology sectors.
Get Set Learn will lead the on-ground implementation of the program, translating global technology platforms into effective classroom experiences. This initiative aligns with national priorities surrounding digital literacy, innovation, and workforce readiness, reflecting Get Set Learn’s commitment to delivering relevant skills on a large scale.
Savi Soin, Senior Vice President & President of Qualcomm India, emphasized the importance of incorporating edge AI technologies into education, stating, “India’s AI future will be built on locally deployed, energy-efficient physical intelligence, and that essential journey must begin in our classrooms today.” He asserted that this partnership aims to empower the next generation of innovators to address real-world challenges directly.
Priyavrata Mafatlal, Vice-Chairman of the Arvind Mafatlal Group and Founder of Get Set Learn, highlighted the significance of this collaboration in shaping India’s role in the AI era. He remarked, “The partnership creates a practical platform that complements classroom learning by giving students exposure to future skills through building real systems and engaging with real-world problems.”
Ameet Zaverii, CEO & Co-founder of Get Set Learn, reiterated the mission to extend future skills education beyond a select few classrooms, aiming to reach learners across diverse geographies and school systems. He stated that the collaboration brings together global technology leaders and hands-on learning to create scalable education models suitable for real classroom environments.

Details regarding the implementation and scaling of this initiative will be revealed at the upcoming February 2026 AI Summit, which will mark the next phase of this collaboration aimed at strengthening AI and future-skills education in India.
