Choicely Unveils AI Tool to Launch Native Mobile Apps from Websites in Under 2 Minutes

Choicely, in partnership with Netlight and powered by Google Gemini AI, launches an innovative tool that transforms websites into native apps in under two minutes, saving users up to 90% on development time.

Choicely, a no-code platform enabling businesses to create high-performance native apps without developer intervention, has successfully completed an AI-driven pilot project in collaboration with global technology consulting firm Netlight, powered by Google Gemini AI. This partnership has resulted in the development of a cutting-edge AI chat tool capable of transforming any website into a fully functional native app for both iOS and Android in under two minutes.

Kaius Meskanen, CEO of Choicely, noted a significant shift in mobile app development, comparing it to a rare evolution that occurs once every generation. He emphasized that Choicely’s new Software Development Kit (SDK) opens up new possibilities for contemporary app creation. The SDK allows for the seamless conversion of AI-generated content into fully customizable, natively rendered applications, delivering highly intelligent experiences that adapt in real-time based on user interactions.

The newly introduced Choicely AI tool integrates Google Gemini’s capabilities, including advanced reasoning, multimodal understanding, and code-generation, directly into the Choicely platform. Users can simply copy and paste a website address into the AI chat window. The Gemini AI analyzes the site’s structure, content, and images, subsequently generating a mobile app that can be modified using Choicely’s native SDK. Users can preview the app, adjust the layout in Choicely Studio, and publish it on both app stores within minutes.

The pilot team praised Google Gemini’s swift and accurate handling of complex data, which includes text, code, and images. John Anderson, a Netlight consultant who led the five-week initiative, explained that they employed an agent-based architecture, allowing for the rapid creation of structured and production-ready outputs.

This pilot has demonstrated that AI can function as a real-time creative partner for developers, marketers, and media brands. Unlike traditional chatbots that merely summarize content, Choicely AI autonomously retrieves site assets, constructs native layouts, and organizes feeds. This feature grants users complete control over how to enhance or modify the app through code, merging no-code efficiency with AI intelligence and native performance, thus revolutionizing digital creation.

Gary Fowler, an advisor at GSD Venture Studios, asserted that AI represents a transformative force in app development. He lauded Choicely’s innovations as indicative of a new intelligence that transforms app creation into a dialogue where AI comprehends human intentions, subject matter, and design preferences. This advancement signals the onset of hyper-intelligent development.

Choicely offers three distinct methods for building native apps: the Mobile App SDK, the Visual Editor, and the AI Chat. Users can launch mobile applications in days rather than months, gaining the ability to integrate the SDK, Visual Editor, and AI collaboratively while retaining the option to customize with code.

The five-week proof-of-concept sprint was meticulously organized into three agile phases, starting from content extraction and AI agent integration to documentation and deployment. The prototype exhibited native-quality performance, smooth streaming, and dynamic app previews, laying the groundwork for the public beta launch of Choicely AI.

The innovative tool is particularly well-suited for publishers, news organizations, and other content-rich entities seeking to accelerate digital transformation while minimizing development costs. Early adopters reported saving up to 90% of the time typically required for app creation and testing. Meskanen remarked that this is only the beginning of their collaborative efforts. Choicely is currently developing a comprehensive AI roadmap aimed at enabling everyone, from creators to businesses, to build, launch, and scale applications more swiftly than ever before.

About Choicely

Choicely is a next-generation mobile app platform, offering a true no-code solution that allows brands and media companies to create fully functional, advanced native iOS and Android apps with unprecedented speed and flexibility. The platform utilizes only native code—Java for Android and Swift for iOS—ensuring rapid performance capable of accommodating millions of users simultaneously. Choicely offers three distinct development methods: the Mobile App SDK, the Visual Editor, and the AI App Builder, the latter of which can produce a functional prototype within just two minutes. Notable organizations utilizing Choicely’s technology include the Eurovision Song Contest, ITV Studios, and Arsenal Fan TV. The platform initially provides free access, with subscription fees applicable once applications exceed fifty active monthly users.
