The current absence of UK legislation mandating AI content labelling leaves consumers to navigate a confusing array of viral videos, often unable to distinguish between authentic footage and algorithmically produced content. A recent report from the House of Commons Library outlines potential labelling strategies, ranging from visible disclaimers to machine-readable watermarks embedded in the files.
