Semify Acquires Dragon Metrics to Enhance AI-Driven Reporting and Global Reach

Semify acquires Dragon Metrics to boost AI-driven reporting and global SEO capabilities, enhancing services for clients in over 50 countries.

Semify, a prominent white-label digital marketing software platform specializing in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Paid Search Advertising (PPC), Paid Social Advertising, and AI Optimization (AIO), has acquired Dragon Metrics, an international SEO and reporting software platform based in Hong Kong. This strategic acquisition aims to enhance Semify’s global measurement capabilities and accelerate its AI offerings, marking a significant expansion for both companies.

Founded in 2011, Dragon Metrics has established itself as a leading player in the SEO industry, particularly for international markets. The platform supports not only Google but also major non-Google search engines popular in China, Korea, and Japan. Currently, it serves multinational corporations and global agencies across more than 50 countries, providing comprehensive tools for tracking keyword rankings, competitor analysis, and more.

“This acquisition represents a pivotal moment in our evolution toward comprehensive AI optimization services with best-in-class reporting software,” stated Patrick Briggs, CEO of Semify. He emphasized that Dragon Metrics brings invaluable technology and international expertise that will be crucial for expanding AI optimization services. Simon Lesser, co-founder of Dragon Metrics, will join Semify as Chief Product Officer, further aligning the companies’ strategies.

Under the terms of the acquisition, the engineering teams of Dragon Metrics and Semify will merge, with Semify’s Chief Technology Officer, Brian Sappey, leading the integration. “Joining forces with Semify allows us to take Dragon Metrics to the next level,” said Lesser, underscoring the combined strengths in reporting and fulfillment services that will benefit clients across both platforms.

This integration is particularly timely given the rapid evolution of search marketing towards AI-powered solutions. Semify has been at the forefront of AI Optimization methodologies, and the addition of Dragon Metrics’ capabilities is expected to enhance its global AIO services significantly. The integration will provide immediate benefits for Semify’s resellers, who will gain enhanced reporting features through Dragon Metrics and eventually access these functionalities directly within Semify’s software.

In a statement, Richard Mabey, co-founder of Dragon Metrics, remarked, “This acquisition perfectly illustrates the convergence we’re seeing between sophisticated SEO, PPC, social ad, and AI-powered reporting.” He highlighted the unique advantages that the merger will create, combining Dragon Metrics’ global capabilities with Semify’s AIO and SEO expertise.

Existing customers of Dragon Metrics can expect continuity, as the brand will continue to operate independently while offering additional engineering support and white-label fulfillment services exclusively for Dragon Metrics-approved agency clients. This approach aligns with Semify’s reseller model, ensuring high-quality service delivery.

As the digital marketing landscape continues to evolve, the merger of Semify and Dragon Metrics signals a broader trend towards integrating advanced technologies to enhance marketing efficacy. With increased competition in the SEO and digital marketing sectors, this acquisition positions both companies to better serve their clients and adapt to the changing market demands.

About Semify: Founded in 2009, Semify is recognized for its ability to help organizations scale their SEO, PPC, and AIO services seamlessly within existing ecosystems. The company offers a unique blend of expert service and cutting-edge technology, facilitating efficient service delivery without necessitating changes to partners’ operations.

About Dragon Metrics: Established in 2011 and headquartered in Hong Kong, Dragon Metrics specializes in providing enterprise-grade SEO tools tailored for international markets. The platform is known for its exceptional support for both Google and other major search engines, making it a comprehensive solution for businesses operating in diverse global markets.
