For example, the work titled “GSM-Symbolic: Understanding the Limitations of Mathematical Reasoning in Language Models” addressed the challenges faced by these systems in mathematical contexts. Similarly, “How Far Can Transformers Reason? The Globality Barrier and Inductive Scratchpad” offered insights into the reasoning capabilities of transformer-based models.
