Dassault Systèmes and Mistral AI have expanded their partnership to deliver integrated sovereign artificial intelligence services to clients across Europe, particularly in sectors facing tight regulations. This collaboration comes amid a growing demand for technologies that ensure data and infrastructure remain within regional borders, a shift highlighted by increasing geopolitical uncertainties.
A recent study by Accenture revealed that 62% of European organizations are prioritizing the control of their data and digital infrastructure, seeking sovereign AI solutions to address these concerns. In response, the new agreement will see Mistral AI’s latest offerings, including the Le Chat Enterprise assistant and the AI Studio platform, hosted on Dassault Systèmes’ OUTSCALE sovereign cloud. This setup allows customers in both industry and the public sector to utilize high-performance generative AI tools while adhering to Europe’s stringent security, privacy, and compliance protocols.
OUTSCALE is recognized as the first cloud provider to attain the highest level of security certification in Europe, a crucial aspect as both companies aim to tackle the challenge of industrializing AI without jeopardizing confidentiality or intellectual property. The integration will present organizations with ready-to-use, interoperable models within a trusted environment, facilitating automation in tasks such as report writing, code generation, and content creation, all while maintaining data sovereignty.
Philippe Miltin, Chief Executive of OUTSCALE at Dassault Systèmes, emphasized that this strengthened partnership is set to “accelerate and widen the adoption of sovereign cloud for AI in Europe.” He noted that industries with regulatory oversight and the public sector require “full confidence” in terms of data security, transparency, control, and overall performance.
Mistral AI’s tools are now available through the OUTSCALE Marketplace, which serves as a platform for cloud-based partner services. The announcement was made during the Adopt AI event in Paris on November 27. This collaboration underscores a significant development in the European AI landscape, responding to the urgent demand for sovereign solutions that can protect sensitive data while leveraging advanced technological capabilities.
The move reflects a broader trend across Europe, where businesses are increasingly looking for ways to harness AI while navigating the complexities of data regulation. As the digital landscape evolves, the partnership between Dassault Systèmes and Mistral AI positions them at the forefront of this critical transition, promising to reshape how organizations approach AI in line with stringent regulatory frameworks.
