Rencore Secures $15M in Series A Extension to Advance AI Governance and Global Growth

Rencore secures $15 million in Series A extension to enhance AI governance solutions for Microsoft 365, driving global expansion in enterprise markets.

Rencore has successfully extended its Series A funding to a total of USD 15 million, a move aimed at bolstering its international expansion and enhancing its capabilities in AI and Agent Governance for enterprise environments using Microsoft 365. The funding round, announced on November 27, 2025, was led by European technology investor Hi Inov, with participation from existing investors UVC Partners and Capnamic Ventures.

The newly acquired capital will enable Rencore to strengthen its foothold in both Europe and North America, further establishing its position as a leader in governance solutions tailored for modern enterprises. Rencore’s cloud-based platform simplifies the management of collaboration, security, compliance, and automation across Microsoft 365, the Power Platform, and AI-driven services, including Copilot and enterprise agents.

With the rapid adoption of AI technologies, Rencore has adapted its platform to include advanced AI and Agent Governance capabilities. This evolution allows enterprises to oversee how AI systems interact with business data, ensuring responsible usage and compliance with emerging standards in trust, risk, and security. As companies increasingly deploy AI solutions, these governance features become essential for CIOs and IT leaders managing the integration of AI tools.

Rencore’s governance solution is already utilized by leading enterprises such as Amgen, Honeywell, Lufthansa Group, and Siemens Healthineers. These organizations leverage Rencore’s technology to mitigate data exposure risks, enforce security and compliance policies, and ensure that AI systems operate within established operational and regulatory frameworks.

According to Julius Jürging, Partner at Hi Inov, the increasing complexity introduced by AI adoption necessitates robust governance measures. “AI adoption across the enterprise is creating a new layer of complexity in governance, security, and compliance,” Jürging stated. “Rencore is uniquely positioned to solve these challenges by extending its proven Microsoft 365 governance foundation into AI and Agent Governance. We are convinced that Rencore will play a defining role in how enterprises establish control and trust in the age of AI.”

Rencore’s CEO, Matthias Einig, emphasized that enterprises must govern not only their data but also the AI systems that utilize it. “This investment allows us to accelerate our mission of helping organizations adopt AI responsibly and securely, while scaling our presence in Europe and North America,” Einig remarked. “The demand for AI governance is growing fast, and Rencore is ready to lead this next stage of enterprise transformation.”

The company’s plans for the new funding include expanding its AI and Agent Governance capabilities, enhancing product and engineering teams, and scaling go-to-market operations across Europe and North America. Rencore aims to work closely with enterprises, system integrators, and managed service providers to implement sustainable governance frameworks for both collaboration and AI. This next growth phase is focused on enabling customers to innovate securely, ensuring they maintain full control and compliance during their AI adoption journeys.
