SAI360 Acquires Plural Policy to Enhance AI-Driven Regulatory Compliance Solutions

SAI360 acquires AI-driven regulatory intelligence firm Plural Policy to enhance compliance solutions and better navigate complex global regulations.

CHICAGO, Dec. 1, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — SAI360 has acquired Plural Policy, an AI-driven regulatory intelligence firm, enhancing its capabilities in analyzing legislative and regulatory texts at scale. This move comes amid a growing need for organizations to manage the accelerating volume and complexity of global regulatory changes. By integrating Plural’s expertise in large language models (LLMs) with SAI360’s Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) module, the acquisition aims to help clients anticipate and respond to regulatory changes efficiently while ensuring compliance.

Peter Granat, CEO of SAI360, emphasized the importance of this acquisition in today’s fast-paced regulatory environment. “Today’s regulatory environment is characterized by global trends and localized rules, which means regulatory change is moving faster than ever, and organizations need smarter tools to proactively manage compliance,” he stated. The addition of Plural’s team, which specializes in understanding legislative language, is expected to strengthen SAI360’s regulatory intelligence capabilities, providing customers with clearer insights into upcoming regulatory changes.

According to Michael Rasmussen, a Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) analyst at GRC 20/20 Research, the deal marks a significant integration of AI-driven legislative intelligence into decision-making processes. “This acquisition unites advanced content analysis with a mature GRC framework to help companies understand not just today’s regulatory compliance changes, but the impact of pending legislation to the organization,” Rasmussen noted.

Plural Policy’s focus on applying AI models specifically to legislative and regulatory language allows for efficient identification of key themes, comparison of document versions, and rapid detection of significant changes. This expertise will enhance SAI360’s ability to conduct more accurate obligation analyses and facilitate earlier detection of emerging regulatory topics. Additionally, it is expected to improve alignment between regulatory updates and necessary compliance actions, such as policy changes.

Damola Ogundipe, CEO and Co-Founder of Plural Policy, expressed enthusiasm about the merger, stating, “We built Plural to make policy and regulation intelligence smarter, more accessible, and more impactful – all powered by deeply contextual AI models. Joining SAI360 allows us to expand the impact of our work and bring our legislative AI capabilities into a broader risk and compliance ecosystem.” This partnership aims to transition organizations from reactive compliance processes to proactive, predictive insights.

Edouard Didier, Managing Director at STG, the private equity firm that owns SAI360, highlighted the strategic significance of the acquisition. “SAI360’s acquisition of Plural Policy reflects our conviction that AI will play a defining role in the future of regulatory and compliance technology,” Didier stated. He added that Plural’s specialized knowledge would bolster SAI360’s long-term strategy and enhance its capacity to provide intelligent solutions to customers globally.

The acquisition underscores SAI360’s commitment to investing in AI technologies that aim to reduce manual workloads and improve accuracy in compliance management. By leveraging AI, organizations can remain informed and agile as regulatory expectations evolve.

Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. However, this acquisition positions SAI360 to better serve its clients in an increasingly complex regulatory landscape.
