JetStream Security has successfully raised $34 million in seed funding, highlighting the increasing demand for robust oversight of rapidly deployed artificial intelligence (AI) tools. The funding round was spearheaded by Redpoint Ventures, with significant participation from the CrowdStrike Falcon Fund. Notable angel investors include CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz, Wiz CEO Assaf Rappaport, and Frederic Kerrest, co-founder of Okta.
JetStream Security focuses on technology that aims to enhance enterprise visibility and control over AI systems. As organizations increasingly implement AI agents, copilots, and custom models, many encounter challenges in tracking the behavior of these systems, understanding their data interactions, and determining accountability for their actions. JetStream seeks to fill these gaps by developing governance infrastructure that allows companies to effectively monitor and manage AI systems at scale.
The core of JetStream’s platform is the AI Blueprints™ system, which provides a dynamic overview of AI operations within an organization. This system visualizes the connections among AI agents, the models they depend on, the data they access, and the identities responsible for triggering actions. By focusing on real-time behavior rather than static architectural diagrams, JetStream aims to enhance the transparency and auditability of AI workflows.
The newly acquired funding will facilitate JetStream’s growth, allowing the company to expand its engineering, product development, and go-to-market operations. The firm also plans to increase its workforce as it builds out governance infrastructure to help organizations scale their AI deployments safely.
Founded by a team with extensive backgrounds in cybersecurity and enterprise technology, JetStream’s leadership includes CEO Raj Rajamani, COO Jared Phipps, CTO Jatheen Anand, and chief architect Venu Vissamsetty. The founders have previously held roles at major companies such as CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Cohesity, and Dazz, where they contributed to the development of security platforms for global enterprises.
Demand for AI governance solutions is rising rapidly as organizations look to transition AI projects from experimentation to full-scale production. Although over 80% of CEOs express optimism regarding AI’s return on investment, only about 25% of organizations have successfully moved the majority of their AI experiments into operational systems. This disparity underscores the gap between ambition and actual deployment.
JetStream is already collaborating with several Fortune 500 companies as they work to establish governance frameworks that can support extensive AI adoption.
