This initiative follows a successful nine-month pilot program involving 250 UCHealth providers in 2025, which demonstrated marked enhancements in patient experience and provider workflows. As a result, nearly one-third of UCHealth’s approximately 6,000 doctors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants are now utilizing Abridge’s technology.
Abridge’s ambient AI platform securely captures conversations during patient appointments and generates draft clinical documentation for the patient’s chart. Providers will maintain oversight by reviewing AI-generated notes for accuracy, refining them as necessary, and making crucial decisions related to patient care. This collaborative approach ensures that the integration of AI technology enhances, rather than replaces, the human element in healthcare.
