NetSuite has introduced a suite of new AI features aimed at enhancing the efficiency of finance and operations teams, alongside launching an integration platform designed to connect its ERP suite with third-party business systems via a low-code interface. The updates, announced recently, cover critical areas such as financial close management, reconciliations, reporting narratives, customer support workflows, and pricing, reflecting a strategic move to streamline business processes.
The integration platform enables cross-application workflow orchestration and API management, facilitating seamless connections among various external tools, including CRM, eCommerce, HR, and supply chain systems. Evan Goldberg, founder and executive vice president at Oracle NetSuite, emphasized the importance of this integration, stating, “With a single unified suite and the ability to leverage powerful AI models, NetSuite turns disconnected tasks into intelligent end-to-end workflows.”
A key feature of the updates is the **Intelligent Close Manager**, described by NetSuite as an AI-driven command centre for managing period-end closes. This tool tracks close activities, highlights task statuses, and reveals the financial implications of items linked to net income while supporting drill-down capabilities into transactional data across a global business footprint. Additionally, AI-powered bank transaction matching has been implemented, employing generative AI to interpret bank activity and enhance the automatic matching of entries to general ledger accounts, thereby reducing the need for manual review.
In the realm of enterprise performance management, NetSuite unveiled two agent-based features. The **EPM Planning Agent** conducts financial planning and analysis through natural language prompts and supports scenario exploration, while the **EPM Reconciliation Agent** uses an AI matching engine trained on historical data to automatically clear transactions and maintain in-quarter reconciliations, allowing teams to concentrate on exceptions.
For reporting, the company has integrated AI-generated narratives into financial and operational reports, providing users with a streamlined, one-click solution to generate analyses. This feature, currently available in English with plans for additional languages, aims to enhance clarity and insight into financial performance.
NetSuite’s updates also extend to customer-facing workflows. The introduction of AI-powered customer summaries allows for role-based overviews of cases and sales transactions. The new **NetSuite Customer 360** view is designed to accelerate triage and ensure more consistent resolution patterns within service teams.
In terms of pricing, NetSuite has rolled out **AI-assisted advanced pricing tools** that centralize pricing policies and enable configurations based on date range, item assortment, and customer segments. This functionality generates pricing summaries that incorporate inventory, cost, and sales data presented in a narrative format. Other enhancements to commercial and operations processes include updates to subscription analytics and payment systems. The **NetSuite Subscription Metrics** feature introduces advanced metrics, such as Committed Monthly Recurring Revenue reporting and drillable cohort heatmaps for tracking changes like upsells, downsells, and churn in real-time.
The **Intelligent Payment Automation** option allows U.S. customers to manage vendor payments across multi-subsidiary relationships while consolidating reporting in a single vendor record. In the inventory management sphere, NetSuite has introduced consignment inventory management for vendor-owned stock, streamlining the tracking process and impacting cash flow patterns and supplier transactions.
Complementing these application updates is the launch of the **NetSuite Integration Platform**, a low-code tool aimed at simplifying the development and management of integrations and automation across enterprise applications. Utilizing natural language prompts and prebuilt AI integrations, this platform operates on NetSuite’s unified data model and includes a visual development environment suitable for both business and IT users.
The platform also features an embedded AI assistant and offers AI-driven mapping, documentation, and error summarization for integration development and troubleshooting. Centralized controls such as role-based access and audit trails are included, along with monitoring and governance features intended to mitigate fragmented integration strategies. A unified API management console allows for secure and monitored API usage, providing alerts and end-to-end visibility.
Moreover, intelligent document processing capabilities enable customers to implement AI document recognition and retrieval-augmented generation workflows in scenarios such as order intake and procurement approvals. Both the NetSuite platform and the integration tools are built on **Oracle Cloud Infrastructure**, which supports the underlying services.
Goldberg framed the integration platform as a necessary response to the complexities of modern application ecosystems, stating, “By using AI to bring together mission-critical business data, we are helping our customers reduce technical complexity, move faster, and gain more value from the comprehensive AI capabilities embedded in NetSuite.” The newly launched AI features are available to NetSuite customers globally, with the integration platform accessible in North America, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK and Ireland.
