RAIDS AI has launched its commercial AI safety monitoring platform after a successful beta phase, targeting organizations that deploy or utilize AI systems. Co-founded by Nik Kairinos and Brett Stonefield, the platform is designed to detect and alert users to “rogue AI behaviour” in real time. By monitoring AI performance and flagging deviations, it aims to mitigate risks linked to technical failures, algorithmic bias, and regulatory exposure.
The company emphasized that it developed RAIDS AI for organizations scaling AI use, positioning the product within a broader initiative for responsible AI governance amid increasing scrutiny from regulators, customers, and corporate boards. Following the beta phase, RAIDS AI implemented several product updates based on user feedback, enhancing both user experience and onboarding processes.
Among the changes, the company introduced a re-engagement system that prompts users to review monitoring insights at configurable intervals. Additionally, users can now expand baseline data with synthetic data, and they can initiate use of RAIDS without a baseline data file. The platform’s user interface has also been revamped, with new in-app notifications and a severity bar indicating the level of threat. Automatic model training has been added to better prepare RAIDS models for users.
As part of its launch strategy, RAIDS AI has expanded its partner ecosystem, pursuing marketplace listings and advancing its feature roadmap. The company has entered a partnership with Prescient Security, a cybersecurity services provider, to enhance “end-to-end AI governance,” linking the offering to real-time behavioral monitoring and independent ISO 42001 certification. It has also teamed up with The Hybrid Lawtech Firm, which assists businesses navigating complex laws and regulations.
During the beta phase, organizations of various sizes and sectors provided feedback, including large-scale cloud platforms, managed service providers, cybersecurity firms, AI solution builders, and software vendors. However, the company did not disclose specific names of beta participants or provide adoption figures, customer counts, or revenues related to this phase.
New users can access RAIDS AI via a 14-day free trial, with pricing designed specifically for small and medium-sized businesses. For larger organizations, a usage-based scaling model will apply, although the company has yet to disclose specific pricing levels or the metrics used to track usage and define consumption for billing purposes.
Nik Kairinos, CEO & Co-founder of RAIDS AI, expressed enthusiasm for the platform’s commercial launch, which has been nearly two years in development. He emphasized that the platform’s creation stems from rigorous testing and invaluable feedback from pilot and beta test participants. “We know that rogue AI can have devastating consequences from financial loss, reputational damage, personal hardship and even loss of life,” Kairinos stated. “AI has developed at such a rapid pace that we are left playing catch up in regulating and guarding against when it goes wrong.”
Sammy Chowdhury, Co-Founder and Chief Compliance Officer of Prescient Security, highlighted the importance of continuous AI oversight, noting that organizations cannot rely on static policies or annual audits in an environment where AI adoption is outpacing governance and risk management. He remarked, “Tools like RAIDS promise to increase transparency in AI behaviors.”
The Hybrid Lawtech Firm, represented by Christiana Aristidou LLC, has engaged with RAIDS AI to address AI governance needs within regulated environments. The firm emphasized that effective AI governance is now essential, requiring organizations to demonstrate that oversight mechanisms operate effectively over time. “We are very pleased to be involved in the RAIDS initiative, which reflects a forward-looking, actionable and responsible approach to AI oversight,” the firm stated.
RAIDS AI is also a validated member of the AWS Partner Network and an NVIDIA Inception member. The company aims to continue refining its platform and expanding partnerships as it pursues marketplace distribution and further product development milestones.
