Virtual Infosec and Exabeam Launch AI-Powered Cybersecurity Solutions for Ghana’s Businesses

Virtual Infosec Africa partners with Exabeam to deliver AI-driven cybersecurity solutions in Ghana, enhancing defenses against escalating threats as data volumes reach 5.2 zettabytes by 2025.

In Ghana’s rapidly evolving digital economy, data has shifted from being merely a by-product of operations to a core strategic asset essential for business continuity. As organizations increasingly collect vast amounts of data from applications, devices, customers, and employees, the necessity for robust data protection has intensified.

Addressing these challenges, Virtual Infosec Africa (VIA), in collaboration with global security intelligence firm Exabeam, is set to host a pivotal cybersecurity engagement in Accra on November 25, 2025. The event, to be held at the Alisa Hotel, aims to familiarize Ghanaian businesses with cutting-edge AI-driven threat detection and modern Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) capabilities.

Today’s cyberattacks are becoming increasingly sophisticated, automated, and rapid. With global data volumes projected to reach 5.2 zettabytes by 2025, traditional security measures are struggling to keep pace with the sheer volume and complexity of threats. Both VIA and Exabeam emphasize that this evolution makes cybersecurity a critical issue for business survival, rather than a purely technical concern.

VIA and Exabeam’s partnership aims to empower local enterprises with advanced tools incorporating AI-driven SIEM, behavioral analytics, and automated responses. A significant emphasis of this initiative will be on enhancing the technical capabilities of Ghana’s cybersecurity professionals through comprehensive training and hands-on experience with these tools.

“This is more than a technology introduction,” said Mr. Armah, Security Lead at VIA. “Our goal is to combine regional cybersecurity experience with Exabeam’s global leadership, giving Ghanaian businesses the ability to detect threats earlier, run faster investigations and reduce analyst fatigue.”

This initiative aligns with the Bank of Ghana‘s ongoing efforts to strengthen cybersecurity within the financial sector through directives, frameworks, and regular assessments. With digital finance now integral to economic stability, enhancing cybersecurity infrastructure has emerged as a national priority in Ghana.

Exabeam, recently recognized as a Leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for SIEM for the sixth consecutive time, will showcase its innovative technologies, including behavioral analytics, hyper-scale logging, and its Mova AI multi-agent system. These tools are designed to equip security teams with the ability to identify abnormal activities, achieve comprehensive visibility across digital assets, and automate crucial aspects of threat detection and investigation.

According to the partners, this collaboration signifies that Ghanaian institutions can adopt global-standard cybersecurity solutions without delay. As data volumes expand and threat actors evolve, they assert that AI-driven security will be essential for businesses aiming to ensure resilience, operational continuity, and customer trust.

This collaboration represents a significant stride toward constructing a secure digital environment needed to support Ghana’s long-term economic transformation.

At AIPressa, my work focuses on exploring the paradox of AI in cybersecurity: it's both our best defense and our greatest threat. I've closely followed how AI systems detect vulnerabilities in milliseconds while attackers simultaneously use them to create increasingly sophisticated malware. My approach: explaining technical complexities in an accessible way without losing the urgency of the topic. When I'm not researching the latest AI-driven threats, I'm probably testing security tools or reading about the next attack vector keeping CISOs awake at night.
