Oracle has unveiled a significant expansion of its AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications, introducing the Agentic Applications Builder and enhancements aimed at transforming how organizations implement artificial intelligence across their operations. These updates are intended to help companies transition from experimental AI pilots to scalable, outcome-focused systems that drive real business results.
The enhanced platform allows businesses to create, connect, and operate AI agents and agentic applications using natural language, eliminating the need for traditional coding. These AI agents are designed to reason and execute complex processes across various enterprise systems, continually improving through contextual awareness. Oracle emphasized that its platform incorporates enterprise-grade governance, security, and observability to facilitate responsible AI adoption.
A key feature of the new release is the Agentic Applications Builder, which enables users to construct applications by integrating agents from Oracle, partners, and third-party sources. This system facilitates workflow orchestration across intricate processes, ensuring effective coordination among multiple agents through built-in logic, rules, and human oversight.
Additional improvements include content intelligence, which converts both unstructured and structured data into actionable insights, and contextual memory, allowing agents to retain and share pertinent information across different tasks and workflows. The platform now also supports multimodal large language model capabilities, enabling agents to process and generate outputs in text, images, audio, and video formats.
To aid in deployment and scaling, Oracle has introduced monitoring and observability tools, including a prompt playground for testing and refining agent behavior. A newly launched ROI dashboard provides insights into business impacts, encompassing time savings, cost reductions, and productivity enhancements.
Oracle reported that over 63,000 certified experts have been trained on the AI Agent Studio, assisting organizations in identifying use cases and expediting implementations. The platform is available at no extra cost for customers utilizing Oracle Fusion Applications and integrates seamlessly with Oracle’s ERP, HCM, SCM, and CX systems.
Oracle framed these advancements as a crucial step toward enabling fully autonomous enterprise operations, positioning AI agents not merely as assistants but as active participants in executing business processes at scale.
“As organizations move beyond pilots and begin operationalizing AI across the enterprise, they need the ability to tailor AI to their unique workflows, expertise, and operational priorities,” said Chris Leone, Executive Vice President of Applications Development at Oracle. “With AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications, we are helping customers and partners build the foundation for a more autonomous enterprise.”
Leone further stated that builders can create AI automations and agentic applications using natural language, powered by enterprise AI agents capable of reasoning and executing processes. This innovation is expected to transition organizations from merely utilizing dashboards and copilots to deploying AI-driven applications that actively manage business operations, all while maintaining the governance, trust, and security that enterprises require.
Industry experts echoed this sentiment. Lan Guan, Chief AI and Data Officer at Accenture, remarked, “Organizations are recognizing that one-size-fits-all AI is not enough, and they need the flexibility to choose the right large language model for each use case.” He added that the latest updates to Oracle AI Agent Studio enhance the customization options available to clients.
Mauro Schiavon, Global Chief Commercial Officer at Oracle Business with Deloitte, noted that enterprise AI is rapidly evolving from task-based assistance to outcome-driven automation. He highlighted that many clients seek this transformation while ensuring the necessary controls and accountability are in place.
Meanwhile, Rob Fisher, Global Head of Advisory at KPMG International, emphasized the importance of integrating AI into existing business frameworks. He stated, “To deliver real value, AI should be built into the systems companies already run their business on,” underscoring Oracle’s aim to connect reliable AI agents directly within day-to-day workflows.
Looking ahead, Kevin Sullivan, Oracle Global Alliance Leader at PwC, expressed enthusiasm for the expanded Oracle AI Agent Studio, noting that it paves a faster path for organizations to activate existing assets and accelerators, streamline adoption, and measure the value of Fusion-powered workflows on a larger scale. This development illustrates a broader trend in enterprise technology, where organizations are progressively shifting from isolated AI initiatives to comprehensive, outcome-focused AI strategies that enhance overall business performance.
