Camelot Secure Wins 2026 CIO 100 Award for AI-Driven Cybersecurity Automation

Camelot Secure wins the 2026 CIO 100 Award for its Secure360 platform, revolutionizing AI-driven cybersecurity with automated threat response and increased SOC efficiency.

Camelot Secure, a cybersecurity company focused on AI-driven security operations, has been named a recipient of the 2026 CIO 100 Award for its innovative application of agentic AI and orchestration technologies. These advancements are designed to automate threat hunting, infrastructure workflows, and incident response through its Secure360 platform. The recognition comes during the 40th installment of the CIO 100 Awards, which celebrate organizations that effectively utilize technology to deliver significant business impact, including improved operational efficiency and enhanced cybersecurity performance.

Richard Smith, Head of Event Content for the CIO 100 Awards & Conference, remarked, “The CIOs we’re recognizing this year aren’t just keeping the lights on, they’re driving the business. AI, data, security, cloud; it all lands on the same desk now, and the best CIOs have stopped treating them as separate problems.” This year’s winners exemplify a cohesive approach to integrating various technological disciplines.

The Secure360 platform by Camelot Secure is engineered to tackle pressing cybersecurity challenges. It automates various aspects of threat hunting, lessens the workload for Security Operations Centers (SOCs), accelerates incident response times, and orchestrates security workflows across diverse tools and teams. The architecture is built on an agentic AI framework that facilitates a shift from traditional reactive defense models to more proactive, intelligence-driven cybersecurity operations.

Central to this architecture are two key components: the Orchestration Agent and Agentic AI Workflows. The Orchestration Agent interprets natural language requests and directs them to the relevant security workflows, while Agentic AI Workflows consist of multi-step AI agents that automate tasks such as threat hunting and data collection. This dual-approach enables organizations to streamline repetitive security processes, reduce analysis time, and enhance overall SOC efficiency through AI-driven automation.

Stan Oliver, CEO of Camelot Secure, commented on the significance of the award, stating, “This recognition reflects a major shift in cybersecurity—organizations are actively looking for ways to automate threat hunting, reduce SOC workload, and improve incident response with AI. With Secure360, we’re using agentic AI and orchestration to automate multi-step security workflows, giving teams faster detection, less manual effort, and more accurate threat response.”

The 2026 CIO 100 Award winners will be formally acknowledged at the CIO 100 Awards & Conference, set to take place from August 17 to 19, 2026, at the Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa in Frisco, Texas.

Camelot Secure positions itself as a leader in the cybersecurity landscape by adopting a proactive approach to digital defense. The company combines expertise from military, intelligence, and private sectors to develop cutting-edge solutions, including persistent Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) hunt tools and attack surface monitoring. This focus on automation and AI reflects a growing trend in the industry, where organizations are increasingly prioritizing the need for robust cybersecurity measures that can adapt to evolving threats.

At AIPressa, my work focuses on exploring the paradox of AI in cybersecurity: it's both our best defense and our greatest threat. I've closely followed how AI systems detect vulnerabilities in milliseconds while attackers simultaneously use them to create increasingly sophisticated malware. My approach: explaining technical complexities in an accessible way without losing the urgency of the topic. When I'm not researching the latest AI-driven threats, I'm probably testing security tools or reading about the next attack vector keeping CISOs awake at night.
