NHN Dooray, a leading player in the enterprise collaboration market, has unveiled its new lineup of AI agent services aimed at enhancing workplace productivity. During a press briefing held on April 28 at the company’s ‘Play Museum’ in Pangyo, the CEO, Baek Chang-yeol, highlighted the advancements made across various sectors, including public, enterprise, and financial.
The newly introduced Dooray AI agent enhances the existing Dooray platform, which integrates multiple collaboration functions. Unlike traditional conversational assistants, this agent is designed to perform tasks using work data accumulated within Dooray, effectively acting on behalf of users in real workplace scenarios. It allows for seamless interaction within messenger chat rooms, where users can assign specific tasks or pose questions.
Another significant feature, My Agent, serves as a personalized AI assistant that consolidates and analyzes a user’s email, calendar, and personal wiki. By issuing simple commands, users can obtain daily schedules, prioritize tasks based on urgency, create new tasks, and summarize important emails. This functionality is particularly beneficial for managing information overload, as it can sift through numerous emails to highlight those requiring immediate attention.
Project Agent acts as a project-specific AI collaboration partner, utilizing data from a project’s tasks, wiki, and calendar. This agent streamlines project management by enabling users to check project tasks, create or modify tasks, and search through related documentation. Users can inquire about project statuses or identify delayed tasks quickly, thereby facilitating timely decision-making.
Additionally, the Extension Agent connects with internal company systems outside of Dooray, such as ERP and MES, utilizing a Python-based SDK. This innovation allows users, for instance, to submit leave requests or search for employee information through straightforward commands, bypassing cumbersome internal processes.
Designed for specialized functions, the Built-In Agent has undergone training in expert fields such as legal affairs and accounting. Users can immediately access agents tailored for specific tasks, such as utilizing the electronic disclosure system DART to generate corporate information analyses in formats like PDF and HWPX. This assistant is anticipated to enhance productivity within public administration, where such file formats are predominantly used.
NHN Dooray has conducted beta testing of its AI agents with select clients, including Woori Financial Group, and has officially launched the My, Project, and Extension agents for enterprise users, with plans to expand into public and financial sectors. The Built-In Agent is set for release in June, further diversifying the offerings of the Dooray platform.
During the briefing, Baek emphasized the company’s strong growth trajectory, noting that its SaaS segment revenue has risen by 40 percent annually. He expressed confidence that this momentum would continue, stating, “NHN Dooray entered the market based on the strength of being all-in-one, achieved No. 1 in the public sector market, and is now challenging a new market in the financial industry.” He added, “Dooray AI agents will present a new equation for the collaboration tools industry and support companies so they can focus on efficient value in a more innovative work environment.”
As NHN Dooray continues to innovate with AI-driven solutions, it positions itself to redefine collaborative workspaces. The focus on integrating advanced AI capabilities into everyday business functions not only enhances operational efficiency but also sets a new standard in the enterprise collaboration landscape.
