AuraML Launches India’s First Multimodal Robotics Model, Powered by NVIDIA Technology

AuraML launches AuraSim, India’s first multimodal robotics simulation model, leveraging NVIDIA technology to streamline the development of advanced robotic systems.

Indian AI start-up AuraML has launched AuraSim, touted as India’s first multimodal world simulation model for robotics. The unveiling took place during the India–AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi, part of the Government of India’s IndiaAI Mission. With this initiative, AuraML aims to establish India as a leader in physical AI, robotics simulation, and digital twin technology.

AuraSim is designed to empower developers by enabling the creation of physics-ready, three-dimensional simulation environments from various input formats. These formats include text descriptions, 2D floorplans, video walkthroughs, depth maps, and point clouds. By transforming these inputs into high-fidelity digital twins, the platform drastically reduces the time, costs, and hardware risks traditionally linked to training autonomous robotic systems. This functionality allows robotics developers to validate their models virtually prior to deploying physical machines.

One of the key features of AuraSim is its capability to support the simultaneous simulation of different types of robots, including humanoid robots, Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), and stationary robotic arms, all within a shared virtual environment. AuraML’s agentic automation pipeline can autonomously execute thousands of scenario variations. By simply modifying text prompts, developers can rapidly stress-test edge cases, thereby enhancing the robustness of robotics foundation models. This accelerates training cycles and contributes to improved safety and scalability in real-world applications.

In conjunction with the platform launch, AuraML has initiated the Global Physical AI & Robotics Cohort, an eight-week, mentorship-driven training program developed in partnership with NVIDIA Inception. This program is aimed at robotics engineers, AI researchers, and developers, offering them hands-on experience in simulation-driven robotics development. Through this initiative, AuraML seeks to cultivate the next generation of talent in physical AI and generative robotics systems.

Ayush Sharma, co-founder of AuraML, remarked, “By launching the first multimodal world simulation model from India, powered by NVIDIA’s world-class simulation technology, we are providing a global toolset to accelerate the development of advanced robotics foundation models everywhere.” Tobias Halloran, Director of EMEAI Start-ups and Venture Capital at NVIDIA, noted the rapid expansion of India’s AI start-up ecosystem, emphasizing NVIDIA’s ongoing support for founders through access to accelerated computing and scalable AI infrastructure.

AuraML underscores its commitment to building foundational world models for next-generation robotics using generative AI and physics-based simulation. By integrating multimodal inputs and digital twin technology, the company aims to advance robotics innovation, not just in India, but on a global scale. As India’s AI ecosystem continues to grow, platforms like AuraSim are anticipated to play a crucial role in shaping the future of autonomous systems, robotics training, and industrial automation.
