ASUS and Hugging Face Launch Reachy Mini AI Robotics with $100 Discount for Developers

ASUS and Hugging Face unveil the ASUS Ascent GX10 supercomputer, offering $100 off for developers to enhance localized AI robotics with 1 PFLOP performance.

ASUS and Hugging Face are challenging the traditional framework of humanoid robotics development, which has previously demanded extensive financial investment and infrastructure typically found in data centers. By introducing localized AI solutions directly to desktops, the two companies aim to enhance privacy and accessibility in the realm of embodied artificial intelligence.

The centerpiece of this initiative is the ASUS Ascent GX10, a desktop AI supercomputer specifically designed for AI development. Equipped with the NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell superchip, the GX10 boasts an impressive 1 PFLOP of AI computing power and 128GB of unified LPDDR5X memory. This configuration allows developers to achieve data-center-level performance from the comfort of their desks, enabling continuous and interactive operation of robotics models without the delays and costs associated with cloud computing.

Jeff Boudier, VP of Product at Hugging Face, remarked, “The ASUS Ascent GX10 is the ideal compute platform to run AI models right from your desk. Coupled with Reachy Mini, it can power real-world AI applications that can reason, see, listen, and speak back—without compromising privacy or performance.” This announcement highlights the potential for developers to create advanced AI systems that operate independently of external servers, enhancing both functionality and security.

Yen Hoang, Director of Marketing for ASUS North America, emphasized the collaborative effort, stating, “Hugging Face brings together the world’s most passionate open-source communities, and ASUS is powering it with the Ascent GX10 and the NVIDIA AI software stack. Together, we’re bringing AI and robotics closer than ever and giving developers everything they need—from compute to models—to build amazing things. We’re thrilled to put extreme AI performance straight on the developer’s desk and into the Hugging Face community.”

The upcoming NVIDIA GTC 2026 event, scheduled for March 16–19, 2026, in San Jose, California, will provide a platform for both companies to showcase their innovations. Attendees can visit ASUS booth #421 to experience a live demonstration of how the Ascent GX10 integrates with Reachy Mini, forming a comprehensive desktop AI agent. This event is set to highlight not only the capabilities of these technologies but also ASUS’ broader server solutions.

In celebration of the launch, ASUS is offering a limited-time promotion that provides a $100 discount on the Ascent GX10 specifically for Reachy Mini users. This initiative aims to support anyone looking to embark on their journey into on-device embodied AI. The promotion will be available from March 16, 2026, through June 30, 2026, making it an attractive opportunity for developers eager to explore localized AI solutions.

The collaboration between ASUS and Hugging Face signifies a pivotal moment for the field of AI and robotics. By enabling high-performance computing in a desktop format, the partnership not only democratizes access to advanced technology but also paves the way for innovative applications across various sectors. As developers gain the tools necessary to create more sophisticated AI agents, the implications for industries ranging from healthcare to entertainment could be profound.
