UGREEN Unveils AI-Powered NASync Storage, SynCare Security, and Nexode Charger at CES 2026

UGREEN launches AI-driven NASync storage starting at $999, alongside the SynCare security ecosystem and Nexode charger, reshaping consumer tech with privacy-focused innovations.

At CES 2026, UGREEN unveiled a vision for the future of consumer technology that emphasizes local, intelligent systems over fragmented gadgets and cloud dependencies. The company’s announcements focus on three main areas: a new generation of AI-powered network-attached storage, a comprehensive home security ecosystem, and a high-capacity multi-device charger designed for modern power demands. This strategy reflects UGREEN’s initiative, termed “Activate Smarter Living,” which aims to create technology that is faster, more autonomous, and more respectful of personal data.

The centerpiece of UGREEN’s CES lineup is the expansion of its NASync portfolio with the introduction of the iDX6011 and iDX6011 Pro network-attached storage systems. These devices are positioned not merely as “personal cloud” solutions but as intelligent local servers capable of understanding and organizing stored content. Both models utilize Intel Core Ultra processors, support up to 64GB of memory, and feature dual 10-gigabit Ethernet ports, accommodating up to 196TB of storage. The Pro version further enhances capabilities with an OCuLink port, targeting users with heavier creative or AI-driven workloads.

The iDX series distinguishes itself through its emphasis on on-device AI. UGREEN’s Local AI Engine facilitates semantic search across files, photos, and videos, enabling offline AI chat for content interaction, and automatic recognition of faces, animals, objects, scenes, and text. Notably, these functions do not rely on cloud processing, ensuring user privacy. The implication is profound: storage evolves from a passive repository to an intelligent system that allows users to search for memories in a way that reflects their own recollections.

In addition to enhanced storage solutions, UGREEN is making its debut in home security with the new SynCare Series. This lineup includes indoor and outdoor cameras, a video doorbell, and a central smart display hub. Rather than merely providing surveillance, SynCare is designed to understand the context of activities within the home. Indoor cameras offer 4K resolution and pan-tilt tracking capabilities, while outdoor models and doorbells add weather resistance and optical zoom features. All components integrate through the SynCare Smart Display, which serves as both a control center and a live event dashboard.

UGREEN highlights several features of the new system, including UltraColor Night Vision for improved visibility in low light, cross-camera awareness for coordinated responses, and event summaries that describe activities rather than requiring users to sift through hours of footage. The emphasis on privacy is also noteworthy, as the system allows for encrypted local storage and operates without mandatory cloud connections or recurring subscription fees for basic functionalities.

Completing the product lineup is the Nexode Pro 300W desktop charger, an eight-port charging station designed for households where multiple devices often compete for power outlets. This charger includes high-wattage USB-C ports and a dedicated 240W DC port for demanding laptops or workstations, along with a built-in display that shows real-time charging status. While this product may seem less innovative compared to UGREEN’s AI offerings, it addresses the practical needs that arise as households acquire more powerful electronic devices.

UGREEN’s overarching narrative centers on creating a cohesive ecosystem: storage that comprehends user data, security systems that interpret home activities, and reliable power solutions to support it all. The synergy among these products has broader implications, as they could significantly alter how individuals document and experience their digital lives. The NAS systems and security cameras, though not explicitly designed as an integrated product, complement one another effectively. The NAS serves as the intelligence layer, while the cameras add real-world context.

This interconnected approach allows users to manage their digital memories more holistically, merging personal photographs and video feeds into a searchable and contextual archive. The distinction between “memories” and “monitoring” becomes less rigid, enabling users to locate significant life moments easily, regardless of their source. Such capabilities illustrate UGREEN’s commitment to a future where technology enhances users’ lives without compromising their privacy.

Currently, the NASync iDX6011 and iDX6011 Pro are available for pre-order on UGREEN’s website, with discounted prices starting at $999 (MSRP $1,699) for the iDX611 (32GB RAM). The SynCare security lineup is expected to launch in the second half of 2026, while the Nexode Pro charger is anticipated to be available around March. UGREEN’s strategy signifies a potential shift in consumer preferences towards localized, privacy-centric technology solutions that offer seamless integration.
