SEOUL, South Korea, Feb. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — NAVER D2SF, the corporate venture arm of South Korea’s leading search engine NAVER, has announced its investment in CNAPS.AI, a startup specializing in automated AI workflow automation platforms. This funding marks the company’s first institutional backing since its inception in October 2025, with NAVER D2SF leading the seed round, which also saw participation from Bluepoint Partners, Laguna Investment, and Joyakdol Fund.

CNAPS.AI has developed a platform that enables the efficient connection of various AI models to generate optimal outputs swiftly. The company’s vision revolves around achieving what it calls “intelligence mapping,” where users can input a specific task, and the system autonomously constructs the ideal workflow by determining the best AI models to link and how to combine them, all while optimizing for performance and cost.

The backdrop for CNAPS.AI’s technology is the increasingly complex landscape of multi-AI model environments. As high-performance AI models are released with increasing frequency, identifying the most effective model has become a significant challenge for enterprises. The lengthy and costly process of discovering optimal models and integrating them into cohesive workflows is often cited as a primary reason for the failure of AI projects.

Launched in early 2026, CNAPS.AI’s initial product is designed to support and connect over 50 popular AI models, facilitating text and image generation that has garnered interest from sectors such as e-commerce, entertainment, and content creation. The company plans to continually enhance its platform by incorporating the latest AI models and expanding into additional modalities like voice, video, and 3D in future updates.

The leadership team at CNAPS.AI, including co-founder and CEO Innfarn Yoo, brings extensive experience from notable tech companies such as NVIDIA, Google Research, and major gaming firms. This depth of expertise in AI research and development, coupled with commercialization strategies, is considered one of the company’s core strengths.

Yang Sang-hwan, Head of NAVER D2SF, expressed optimism regarding CNAPS.AI’s potential, stating, “We expect CNAPS.AI to ultimately evolve into an intelligence map optimized for users’ needs and contexts.” He emphasized NAVER D2SF’s commitment to identifying and investing in innovative entrepreneurs who are setting new standards within the dynamic AI sector.

NAVER D2SF has a long-standing dedication to fostering sustainable growth by collaborating with startups. Founded in 1999, NAVER has held a prominent position as Korea’s leading search engine for over two decades, with operations extending into commerce, content, fintech, and cloud services. Under its development-focused vision, known as D2 (For Developers, By Developers), NAVER is actively pursuing new technologies and global partnerships to strengthen its standing in the technology sector.

The investment in CNAPS.AI reflects a broader trend in the tech industry where emphasis on efficient AI integration is becoming increasingly crucial. As businesses seek to harness the power of artificial intelligence for various applications, platforms that simplify the connection and management of different AI models are likely to see heightened demand. CNAPS.AI’s approach of automating workflow generation might position it favorably in this evolving market landscape.
