IS Dongseo Launches Generative AI Training to Enhance Employee Productivity and Skills

IS Dongseo launches a comprehensive Generative AI training program to boost employee productivity and proficiency, enhancing practical skills across operations.

IS Dongseo announced on April 28 that it has launched a training program utilizing Generative AI aimed at enhancing work productivity among its executives and employees while strengthening their proficiency in artificial intelligence (AI) technology. This initiative commenced at the company headquarters on April 23 and is being rolled out sequentially at various construction sites and manufacturing plants, with ongoing scheduling to ensure comprehensive participation.

The training program is designed around practical application, featuring sessions led by AI experts to foster real-world usage. The curriculum includes essential topics such as prompt writing and precautions for effective AI utilization, report writing using diverse Generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Genspark, as well as guidance on utilizing Excel macros and VBA. The emphasis is placed on enhancing practical skills, moving beyond mere theoretical education.

Feedback from participants indicates a high level of engagement and interest in the training, with many reporting that the sessions were beneficial for practical work applications, as reflected in the satisfaction survey conducted post-training. The program’s success is attributed to its practical focus and the interactive approach taken by the instructors.

IS Dongseo plans to implement incentives in personnel evaluations for employees who complete the training, promoting a culture of AI utilization within the organization. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to empower all executives and employees to autonomously select and subscribe to Generative AI services that align with their specific work needs. The goal is to establish AI use as an integral part of the company’s operations rather than a one-off educational experience.

“We are providing both education and institutional support so that employees can easily learn AI and actively use it in their actual work,” an IS Dongseo official stated. “We will continue to strengthen work efficiency and on-site safety based on AI at the same time,” indicating the company’s commitment to making AI an essential aspect of its operational framework.

The growing integration of AI technologies in various sectors underscores a significant shift in workplace dynamics, with companies increasingly recognizing the potential for AI to enhance productivity and operational efficiency. As organizations like IS Dongseo invest in training and development programs, it reflects a broader trend of embracing AI as a vital tool for future growth and innovation.
