Stellar Cyber and Cato Networks have announced a collaboration aimed at enhancing security and networking capabilities through the integration of their respective platforms. This partnership aligns the Cato SASE Platform, recognized for its converged security and networking solutions, with Stellar Cyber’s AI-native SecOps platform tailored for managed security service providers (MSSPs) and enterprise security teams.
By merging Cato’s security and networking telemetry with Stellar Cyber’s advanced analytics, the collaboration offers customers comprehensive edge-to-cloud visibility. This integration enables rapid threat detection, investigation, and response across various environments, including users, locations, applications, and cloud services.
Unlike traditional point solutions that can overwhelm security operations centers (SOCs), Stellar Cyber provides a unified Security Operations platform that incorporates an AI-driven SIEM, NDR, and UEBA in a cohesive workflow. This integrated approach enhances signal quality, accelerates triage processes, and simplifies investigations, allowing security teams to operate without the complexities of legacy SIEM solutions.
Cato’s SASE platform stands out for its incorporation of SD-WAN, a specialized global private backbone, and a cloud-native security stack, all while enforcing Zero Trust access policies. When data from this platform is streamed into Stellar Cyber, it becomes actionable for correlation, incident investigation, and SecOps automation. This integration significantly reduces the time required to detect and respond to threats while simplifying operational processes.
The partnership further streamlines service delivery for MSSPs, enabling faster customer onboarding and standardized service delivery. By utilizing Cato’s converged SASE platform alongside Stellar Cyber’s SecOps layer, providers can enhance revenue potential without the complexities associated with custom integrations or fragmented toolchains.
The integration provides several benefits, including unified edge-to-SOC visibility, where SASE telemetry from Cato is directly channeled into Stellar Cyber for quicker threat detection and response. The AI-driven security operations merge SIEM, NDR, ITDR, and UEBA into a single workflow, simplifying triage and alleviating analyst fatigue. Additionally, features designed specifically for MSSPs and lean security teams reduce costs and operational burdens through multi-tenant management and automation. Improved Zero Trust execution is also a key aspect, as the converged network, identity, application, and threat signals enhance detection of lateral movements and misuse of access.
Both companies have made the integration generally available to joint partners and customers, further expanding their market reach. Andrew Homer, VP of Strategic Alliances at Stellar Cyber, noted, “Security teams want outcomes, not complexity. Cato has built one of the strongest SASE platforms in the market, and by pairing it with Stellar Cyber’s AI-driven SecOps layer, we’re giving both MSSPs and enterprises a modern, converged security architecture that is easy to operate and built to scale.”
Eyal Webber-Zvik, SVP of Product Marketing & Strategic Alliances at Cato Networks, added, “Cato has always believed security and networking should be converged in a single, cloud-native platform, and this collaboration extends that convergence into the SecOps domain.” As organizations increasingly prioritize integrating security and networking solutions, this partnership may pave the way for more streamlined security operations in a complex digital landscape.
