eCloudvalley Launches AI Centre of Excellence to Drive Regional AI Adoption for SMEs

eCloudvalley launches its AI Centre of Excellence in Malaysia to equip SMEs with proven AI solutions, enhancing operational efficiency by automating up to 45% of tasks.

eCloudvalley Technology Sdn Bhd has launched its AI Centre of Excellence (AI COE) in Malaysia, a strategic initiative aimed at bolstering the country’s position as a key hub for AI innovation in the Asia Pacific region. The launch, which took place recently, is a critical component of eCloudvalley’s mission to enhance AI adoption across the region and establish itself as a leader in AI-driven cloud modernization by 2026.

Sandy Woo, Country Director of eCloudvalley Technology Sdn Bhd, emphasized the significance of the new centre, stating, “The launch of our AI Centre of Excellence is a proud moment for the Malaysia team. It reflects the dedication our people have consistently demonstrated, and it reinforces Malaysia’s readiness to contribute meaningfully to the region’s AI landscape.” She further noted that the COE will provide customers with access to practical, proven, and scalable AI solutions.

The establishment of the AI COE in Malaysia follows eCloudvalley Digital Technology Co. Ltd’s success in Taiwan, where the company deployed a suite of internally developed AI Agents. These include the MSP AI Agent for cloud incident automation, the MSSP AI Agent for security alert triage, and the KYC AI Agent for identity verification. Initial results from these implementations demonstrated remarkable efficiencies, such as reducing incident analysis time from 25 minutes to just 5 minutes and automating 45 percent of manual ticket creation, significantly enhancing operational capabilities.

“These AI Agents act as an organization’s N+1 employee, a digital teammate that cuts hidden labour costs while enabling higher-value work,” said Wen-Hua Wang, Head of Product. He added that these tools help enterprises manage workflow complexity and fill talent gaps in a scalable manner.

To accelerate its AI initiatives, eCloudvalley has also established a dedicated AI Business Unit. This division is tasked with productizing AI Agent solutions and expanding multi-cloud AI capabilities through the Atlas 2.0 ecosystem. It will also spearhead innovation across engineering, data, and cloud teams, which will underpin eCloudvalley’s broader regional AI strategy and go-to-market efforts.

Dr. Chin Chee Seong, National President of the SME Association of Malaysia, highlighted the importance of the AI COE for Malaysian small and medium enterprises (SMEs). “Malaysia’s SMEs are at a turning point where AI will shape future competitiveness,” he noted. “The launch of eCloudvalley’s AI Centre of Excellence is timely, offering practical capabilities that help SMEs modernize faster, operate more efficiently, and compete regionally.”

The AI COE aims to provide a “ready-to-engage” platform for Malaysian enterprises, according to Sandy Woo. “Organizations can now leverage eCloudvalley’s proven AI Agents, tested in high-volume production environments, to accelerate their AI adoption with lower risk and faster ROI,” she explained. This initiative offers SMEs the opportunity to automate operations, enhance cybersecurity, and modernize cloud environments through validated AI frameworks and hands-on guidance.

With AI positioned as a critical driver of competitive advantage, Sandy Woo underscored the urgency for early adopters. “With AI becoming the new engine of competitiveness, early adopters will gain a measurable advantage—and eCloudvalley stands ready to help Malaysian companies lead this transformation today,” she stated.
