RAVATAR Unveils Holographic AI Avatar ‘Kristal’ at Luxembourg AI Experience Centre

RAVATAR showcases ‘Kristal’, a full-body holographic AI avatar, at Luxembourg’s AI Experience Centre, enhancing finance with real-time interactive guidance.

Cyprus-based AI company RAVATAR has been selected to showcase its technology at the newly launched AI Experience Centre in Luxembourg, delivering a full-body holographic avatar that welcomes visitors and helps guide them through AI-in-finance use cases.

The AI Experience Centre, located at the Luxembourg House of Financial Technology, was officially inaugurated this month, marking a significant step in Luxembourg’s ambition to position itself at the forefront of responsible AI innovation in finance. The opening ceremony was attended by H.R.H. the Grand Duke, Prime Minister Luc Frieden, and Finance Minister Gilles Roth, underlining the strategic importance of the initiative within the country’s broader AI4LUX national strategy.

At the centre of the visitor experience is ‘Kristal’, a full-body, real-time interactive AI avatar developed by RAVATAR. Deployed as a full holographic presence inside a holobox and combining face, voice, and real-time financial knowledge, Kristal can answer visitor questions on topics such as AI in wealth management, fraud detection, and sustainable investing in a clear and accessible way. The avatar serves as a Holo Financial Advisor, welcoming visitors and guiding them through AI-in-finance use cases.

Positioned as a “Holo Financial Advisor,” the avatar serves both as a guide and as a demonstration of how human-machine interaction could evolve within financial services environments. Commenting on the company’s participation, Ruslan Synytskyy, CEO of RAVATAR, said, “We are proud that RAVATAR, a Cyprus-based company, was selected as part of the AI Experience Centre at the Luxembourg House of Financial Technology. By delivering the centre’s holographic AI avatar, we wanted to show in a practical and accessible way how AI can support interaction and guidance in financial services. For us, this is also a strong example of Cyprus-developed technology being showcased in one of Europe’s leading financial centres.”

On the organiser’s side, Dr Esli Spahiu highlighted the importance of experiential AI, stating, “At the AI Experience Centre, we wanted to showcase AI in a way that is practical and easy to experience firsthand. RAVATAR’s holographic AI avatar was a strong fit for that vision, giving visitors an engaging example of how AI can support interaction and guidance in a financial-services context.”

Initiated and powered by the LHoFT, with support from the Ministry of Finance and a network of partners including Microsoft, Plug and Play Tech Center, and Proximus Group, the AI Experience Centre is designed as an interactive environment showcasing practical AI applications. According to information shared by the LHoFT and its partners, the centre brings together more than 20 live demonstrations from 10 countries across three continents. These exhibits cover key financial services domains including wealth management, compliance, risk management, and sustainability, offering visitors hands-on exposure to emerging technologies shaping the sector.

As noted in communications from the LHoFT and supporting organisations, the goal is to present AI “in a way that is practical and easy to experience firsthand,” reinforcing Luxembourg’s positioning as a leading international financial centre embracing innovation. RAVATAR, meanwhile, is an AI company focused on developing an ‘AI avatar interface layer’ for enterprises, enabling real-time human-machine interaction across web, mobile, kiosk, and holographic platforms. The company collaborates with global partners across sectors including finance, healthcare, education, public services, and live events, with a focus on practical, user-friendly AI applications.

RAVATAR’s presence at the AI Experience Centre not only highlights the capabilities of its technology but also represents a significant moment for Cyprus in the international technology landscape. As financial institutions increasingly look to integrate AI solutions into their operations, the demonstration of Kristal may pave the way for more widespread adoption of such technologies within the financial services sector, showcasing how AI can enhance customer interactions and operational efficiency.
