Microsoft has unveiled MAI-Image-2, its latest text-to-image model developed by the AI Superintelligence team, a move that underscores the company’s commitment to enhancing its in-house AI capabilities. This new model positions Microsoft among the top three AI image-generation laboratories globally, as indicated by the Arena.ai leaderboard, marking a pivotal moment in the company’s technological evolution.
MAI-Image-2 is crafted to elevate creative processes, specifically focusing on photorealism, precise text rendering within images, and the capability to create intricate and imaginative scenes. The model was developed in partnership with photographers, designers, and visual storytellers, a strategy aimed at aligning the technology with real-world creative demands.
