Intel Launches Core Ultra Series 3 Processors in PH with 50 TOPS AI Performance

Intel launches Core Ultra Series 3 processors in the Philippines, delivering 50 TOPS AI performance and targeting both premium and budget laptop markets.

Chipmaker Intel has launched a new line of laptops powered by its latest processors in the Philippines, marking the introduction of a new generation of devices designed to cater to both premium and budget markets. The company revealed that systems equipped with its Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors are now available locally through major PC brands, including Asus, Acer, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and MSI. These processors were first unveiled at the CES 2026 earlier this year.

The new processors are built on Intel’s 18A process and integrate CPU, GPU, and neural processing unit (NPU) components, thus enhancing the capability to perform on-device artificial intelligence tasks. According to the company, these processors can achieve up to 50 trillion operations per second (TOPS) in AI performance, while also offering improved graphics through the integrated Xe3 architecture and greater energy efficiency.

In addition to the premium offerings, Intel is also rolling out the more affordable Intel Core Series 3 processors, targeting students, families, and small businesses. These processors share a similar architectural foundation but are designed for lower-cost devices. The Core Series 3 platform promises up to 47% better single-thread performance, 41% better multi-thread performance, and up to 2.8 times higher GPU AI performance compared to five-year-old PCs. It additionally supports newer connectivity standards, including Thunderbolt 4, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 6.

Intel anticipates that over 200 laptop models globally will be equipped with the Core Ultra Series 3 processors, with more than 70 designs utilizing the Core Series 3 chips. “These advancements will help unlock productivity, creativity, and growth for Filipino users, ranging from professionals and students to creators and enterprises,” stated George Chacko, general manager of the Sales Group for Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand at Intel Corporation.

As the demand for AI-capable technology continues to rise, Intel’s latest offerings not only highlight the company’s commitment to innovation but also reflect the growing trend towards integrating AI capabilities into everyday computing devices. This strategic move comes at a time when the global technology landscape is increasingly focused on making advanced computing more accessible to a wider audience.

With these new products, Intel aims to strengthen its position in the competitive laptop market while addressing the needs of diverse consumer segments. The incorporation of cutting-edge processing technology into both high-end and budget-friendly devices underscores a significant shift in how computing power is viewed in the modern age, particularly as users seek tools that can enhance productivity and creativity in their daily tasks.
